Desired Qualifications Experience with governance bodies, such as ODVA, TIA, ISO, ISA, and other models
Experience with US Government agencies or local equivalent, such as DHS, INL, and US-CERT or others
Industry certifications in network services and/or security, such as CCENT, CCNA, CISSP or CISM
Industrial automation hardware and software experience
Familiar with a variety of security and/or networking concepts, practices, and procedures, to include manufacturing and enterprise network convergence, network protocols, communication optimization, application effects on system performance and human exploitation techniques on the manufacturing network.
Experience in developing and deploying solutions in a virtual environment.
Position Summary The Network and Security Engineer will take part in the design and delivery of Network and Security solutions for Rockwell Automation customers. The primary focus will include designing, implementing solutions, and providing long term maintenance of a customer’s manufacturing infrastructure.
Design, implement and support customer’s converged business and manufacturing/industrial systems and user needs in parallel with their overall business strategies. Write detailed documentation that could include user needs, system specifications, observed issues with remediation recommendations or implementation requirements in order to develop or modify manufacturing infrastructure. Design, recommend, and implement system changes.
Design customer manufacturing architecture and provides vision, problem anticipation, and problem solving ability to customers.
Design, implement and support customer manufacturing security infrastructure, policies and procedures.
Develop and administer risk management programs for customers. Create and modify policy recommendations to comply with safety and regulatory legislation as well as industry practices.
Conduct Business Impact Analysis for customers in order to make recommendations for the design of the administration, maintenance, development and implementation of policies and procedures for a Manufacturing and Industrial Disaster Recovery Plan.
Travel will be required in this position approximately 50 to 80% of the time, and it can include both domestic and international trips.
A BS in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science or Information Technology or related technology driven degree.
