The role you’ll contribute (Job Summary):

Works closely with Sterile Processing Department (SPD) Manager, Supervisor and OR Coordinators to assist in instrument repairs, quick turnovers, immediate use sterilization and any other staffing needs deemed necessary. 

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

Required:

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED
  • Experience: 2 years of sterile equipment processing
  • One of the following primary Central Services certifications is required upon hire or transfer: CRCST, CBSPDT
  • One of the following post-primary certifications is required within one year of hire or transfer: CIS, CSIS, CER, CFER, CHL, CSPM, CASSP
