Description
CT technologist will be responsible for the performance of duties as staff radiologic technologist, as well as duties specific to Computerized Tomography (CT).  Routine operation and performance of CT, procedures relative to calibration, quality control and patient examination as required to provide CT services to the satisfaction of the Director of Imaging and/or attending radiologist.

Recognizes the purpose of employment is to prioritize the patient as number one, and to put forth the utmost quality as a Technologist.  Produce the highest quality of CT’s, maintain records as required, assist physicians with various procedures as required.  Maintain work area in a constant state of readiness.  Follows all Policies and Procedures for the Hospital as well as the Department of Imaging
Qualifications
High school graduate
Completion of formal Radiological Technology training course in a JRCERT accredited program with appropriate cross-training in CT or post-graduation formal training in an approved program.
Six (6) months of hospital based experienced preferred.
Possess current State of Florida Department of Health, Bureau of Radiation Control, operator’s license
Required to be licensed as CT technologist within two years of hire
Must have a current BLS certification prior to hire date
