You Will Be Responsible For:

  • Work with the Directors of Consumer Strategy, Marketing Directors, Sports Marketing, other members of the consumer strategy team and creative team to create marketing campaigns that achieve key business goals, i.e. building market awareness and preference, creating brand differentiation, growing volume, market share, etc.

  • Develop brand and volume driving messaging (including copywriting) to build consumer loyalty through various marketing and communication vehicles such as print, direct mail, outdoor, radio, television, digital media and social media. 

  • Oversee brand positioning, messaging, design and creative execution within the WFD.

  • Lead the WFD Creative team including employed and freelance talent. Oversee production and approval of marketing collateral and advertising campaigns including support of all WFD hospitals and ambulatory services ensuring projects meet deadlines and budgets.

  • Manage relationship with division marketing agency including review/approval of work estimates and invoices, scheduling of meetings and gathering/consolidating internal feedback for the agency.

  • Lead mass media (TV, radio, billboard, etc.) creation, production, and placement with, internal teams and external vendors (including designation and tracking of creative by asset).

    Coordinate with corporate and corporate agency for brand advertising in the WFD and other marketing collateral developed by those teams.

  • Lead development and implementation of content to support campaigns and business objectives (i.e. web, social, email, digital, etc.) using WFD and corporate support resources as appropriate.

  • Manage WFD digital advertising campaigns, landing pages, brand/volume social media posts (and post boosting), etc. with corporate digital team and WFD communications team.

  • Manage creation of, and ongoing updates for, WFD web landing pages (i.e. strategy, messaging, content, etc.).

  • Develop and review media plans. Review plans before and after campaigns for appropriate reach, frequency, impressions, GRP’s and other key KPI’s. Track and analyze results and propose adjustments as needed.

  • Create overview presentations for WFD major campaigns and key initiatives highlighting strategy, goals, creative, plan overview and results (if completed).

  • Meet with internal stakeholders, when appropriate, to understand their marketing needs (large projects, complex initiatives, acquisitions, etc.).

  • Oversee adherence to brand design standards while ensuring consistent brand image in the community at all times.

  • With Creative Design Manager, coordinate WFD video and photo shoots.

  • Manage digital asset management for WFD brand and marketing content.

  • Provide administrative oversight for brand/creative services team including budget and expense tracking, staff management, etc.

 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supervision of creative services team including creative design manager, marketing project manager and freelance photographers and videographers.


Qualifications

What You Will Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Business, Communications, Advertising, Healthcare Administration or related field. 

  • 8-10 years of experience and proven track record in marketing or creative services.

  • Experience working in a healthcare marketing, advertising agency, in-house creative services team or integrated marketing role is required.

  • Strategic, creative leader with ability to deliver projects on time and under budget.

  • Strong understanding of media mix optimization

  • Strong organizational skills including development and implementation of team processes and procedures.

  • Ability to effectively articulate marketing strategy, KPI’s and how creative execution will support.

  • Ability to synthesize information and translate into creative execution.

  • Experience leading creative ideation and overseeing the creative development process.

  • Strong English communication skills: verbal, business writing and copy writing.

 

 

Job Summary:

The Director of Brand Services is responsible for helping drive brand awareness and preference through the development and execution of marketing brand initiatives and volume driving campaigns that help Advent Health’s West Florida Division (WFD) meet business objectives. The director serves as a liaison to the corporate brand and creative team, local marketing agency and the corporate marketing agency for WFD marketing initiatives. The position also leads the WFD’s in-house creative agency which provides services including, but not limited to, creative brief development, campaign concepting and development, creative execution, graphic design, copy writing, photography and videography for all WFD marketing and collateral materials.

 

The Director of Brand Services is a creative and strategic leader, hands-on relationship builder and influencer with a reputation for getting things done.
