Texas Health Hospital Mansfield

Texas Health has joined with AdventHealth to build a new health care campus in Mansfield, a 4- story, 195,400-square-foot community hospital, called Texas Health Hospital Mansfield and is slated to open in late 2020. As a member of AdventHealth, the Texas Health Mansfield team carries on the tradition that recognizes that whole-person health is achieved through the proper balance of physical, mental, and spiritual well-being. With an initial capacity of 59 beds, Texas Health Mansfield will offer a full variety of services, including: 24/7 emergency department, labor and delivery, intensive care unit, catheterization lab (diagnostic cardiology and interventional cardiology), operating rooms (to include orthopedics, general surgery, urology and GI) and general medical/surgical inpatient care.

The new Mansfield hospital, a 38-acre campus located on the southeast corner of U.S. Highway 287 and Lone Star Road in the Johnson County area of Mansfield, will be Texas Health's first major facility in Mansfield. Covering 50 square miles, Mansfield is located primarily in southeastern Tarrant County, with areas stretching into Ellis and Johnson counties. The city has expanded rapidly in recent years, with a population growth rate of more than 10 percent from 2011-17. The city is expected to continue experiencing rapid growth.

We know many of our current employees are interested in this new location. To begin the process, we will start to collect those employees who are interested in exploring the opportunity to change to the Mansfield location. Covering 50 square miles, Mansfield is located primarily in southeastern Tarrant County, with areas stretching into Ellis and Johnson counties. The city has expanded rapidly in recent years, with a population growth rate of more than 10 percent from 2011-17. The city is expected to grow from 228,244 residents in 2017 to more than 251,000 by 2022.
