The position also covers Forest Lake Academy and the Corporate account so there is some travel and multi-site responsibility. Location: 601 EAST ROLLINS STREET, ORLANDO 32803 The community you’ll be caring for: AdventHealth Orlando · Located on a lush tropical campus, our flagship hospital, 1,368-bed AdventHealth Orlando · Serves as the major tertiary facility for much of the Southeast, the Caribbean and South America · AdventHealth Orlando houses one of the largest Emergency Departments and largest cardiac catheterization labs in the country · We are already one of the busiest hospitals in the nation, providing service excellence to more than 32,000 inpatients and 125,000 outpatients each year The role you’ll contribute: The Senior Manager of Nutritional Services is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the department, including Clinical, Patient Services Area (PSA), Retail, and Catering. Ensures safe and efficient operations by requiring goals, expectations, and priorities are met consistently by the staff. Fosters successful performance, identifies improvement areas, and engages team. Responsible for meeting the Department’s regulatory compliance and productivity requirements. Ensures clinical patient care and retail services are consistently handled with outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all. - Oversees the facility and multiple Managers, Supervisors and Leads within the Nutritional Services Department, ensuring daily operations run efficiently and effectively, including Patient Services, Retail, and Catering.
- Executes the departmental action plans to successfully achieve goals and objectives and to provide direction for consistency of customer care and service excellence.
- Implements, communicates, and upholds policies, procedures, and standards that guide and support the departmental functions.
- Functions as the role model for the Department and is considered part of the Facility Leadership team.
Qualifications The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed: Minimum qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, nutrition, business, or related field.
- If no bachelor’s degree:
- Four years of professional experience in hospitality, nutrition, business or other related experience.
- Four years of experience in food service field
- Two years of leadership experience in food services field
OR - Four years of food services experience
- Two years of leadership experience in food service field
- ServSafe certification or equivalent
Preferred qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in business, food service, nutrition, or related field
- Five (5) years of experience in food service field
