Schedule: Full Time, Part Time, PRN Available

The community you’ll be caring for:

·         AdventHealth Orlando is a lush tropical campus, and our flagship hospital. This 1,414-bed hospital serves as the major tertiary facility for much of the Southeast, the Caribbean and South America. We are already one of the busiest hospitals in the nation, providing service excellence to more than 50,000 inpatients each year.

·         AdventHealth East Orlando has been serving East Orlando residents since 1941 as an innovative local leader that fills a vital need in a fast-growing area. A recent 200,000 square-foot expansion project upgraded the hospital to 295 beds, with a spacious patient tower and 80 new private rooms designed to enhance the holistic care experience to approximately 15,000 inpatients each year.

·         AdventHealth Winter Park has continuously served the residents of Winter Park and its surrounding communities for more than 50 years.  Chartered in 1951, the hospital has grown from the visionary efforts of a handful of Winter Park residents and community leaders, to a 320-bed acute care facility that is a model of community health and wellness providing service excellence to more than 14,000 inpatients each year.

·         AdventHealth Altamonte Springs Located north of Orlando in the community of Altamonte Springs, our facility is consistently named “Best Hospital” for overall quality, reputation, doctors and nurses by local residents. As the largest satellite campus within the AdventHealth system, AdventHealth Altamonte has been providing state-of-the-art healthcare to the community since 1973. The 398-bed hospital cares for more than 168,000 patients a year. We are proud to be revolutionizing health care with visionary leadership and world-class resources.

·         AdventHealth Apopka is a seven-story, 120-bed hospital offering an extensive range of services including expanded surgical services, advanced surgical suites and a catheterization lab. The hospital also features a 30,000-square-foot emergency department with pediatric-friendly beds, imaging services, a full-service cafeteria, chapel, gift shop and on-site fire station. The hospital opened in December 2017, replacing the 50-bed hospital that AdventHealth had operated in downtown Apopka for more than four decades.

·         AdventHealth Winter Garden has operated since 2015 with our emergency room and ambulatory surgery center and we recently expanded to add a 3-floor, 80-bed inpatient tower, becoming a full-service hospital to serve the community of Winter Garden.  Our hospital tower expansion will open in May 2022! The AdventHealth Winter Garden tower expansion will also include new ancillary and clinical spaces such as an expanded Surgery department, Inpatient Rehab, Inpatient Dialysis, Laboratory, and Imaging services.  AdventHealth Winter Garden is conveniently located in the Winter Garden Village, minutes from beautiful downtown Winter Garden and nearby Walt Disney World and the premier attractions of Orlando. The team here is dedicated to bringing exceptional mission-focused, faith-based care to residents and visitors of West Orange County. We are proud to be revolutionizing health care in West Orange County and bringing this state-of-the-art care to its residents. 

·         AdventHealth Kissimmee is a 242-bed community-focused hospital. Conveniently located near Walt Disney World. The team is here is dedicated to bringing mission-focused, faith-based care to residents and visitors of Osceola and Orange Counties. AdventHealth Kissimmee has recently expanded our existing tower by 3-floors and 80-beds, including new ancillary spaces such as Inpatient Rehab, Inpatient Dialysis, Laboratory, and Imaging services.  

·         AdventHealth Celebration Established in 1997 and now a 203-bed hospital, AdventHealth Celebration Health was designed as a Mediterranean resort-style facility to serve as a cornerstone of health in Disney’s planned community of Celebration, Florida. The hospital consistently delivers a state-of-the-art healing environment to residents of Osceola, Orange, Polk and Lake Counties, as well as to visitors from across the United States and the world. All within a 'living laboratory' of groundbreaking, research-driven clinical solutions that integrate mind, body and spirit in the defeat of illness and disease.

 

The role you’ll contribute:

The Registered Professional Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing and supervising direct and indirect total nursing care responsibilities to identified age specific groups. Utilizes the nursing process (assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating) in achieving the goals of the nursing department.  Adheres to the AdventHealth Corporate Compliance Plan and to all rules and regulations of all applicable local, state and federal agencies and accrediting bodies. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.

 

*Terms: 24 month Full Time Employment Contract Required for Sign-On and Relocation

Sign-on Eligibility:

·     Applicable experience required.

·     Internal Candidates and Rehires within 12 months are not eligible. 

 

Relocation Eligibility:

·     Must live 50 miles outside of campus address.

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

Minimum qualifications:

  • Graduate of a school of nursing
  • Current valid State of Florida or multi state license as a Registered Nurse
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Advanced life support certification (ACLS, PALS, NRP) per specialty/unit requirements

Preferred qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
  • Professional certification
