In this role, the LEAN Project Manager will be responsible for analyzing operational plans and implementing process improvement needs. To do this effectively, you will need to evaluate and model existing processes.
Organizes, leads and facilitates cross-functional projects. Identifies improvement options. Develops metrics that provide data for process management and indicators for future improvement opportunities. Collects data to identify root cause problems.
Measures performance against process requirements, aligning improvement projects to close performance shortfalls.
Identifies and manages resources, including cross-functional members, to successfully execute projects.
Provides consultation on the use of re-engineering techniques to improve process performance and product quality.
Deploys plans from conception through to close.
Delivers presentations and training courses including measurement, analysis, improvement and control courses.
A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial or Electrical Engineering or related technical field with knowledge in the application of basic engineering principles, theories, and techniques is a plus.
Must have a minimum of three year's of lean six sigma leader related experience within a manufacturing environment.
Experience within an electronic manufacturing and test environment is strongly preferred.
Black Belt certification is a plus.
