Performs functions associated with the manufacturing operations of custom industrial automation controls equipment including working with engineers, as
well as electrical wiring and performing testing related to the production of subassemblies and final assemblies. Determines and may assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process for 2nd shift.
Responsible for electrical testing and associated compliance paperwork of finished assemblies prior to shipment.
The Manufacturing Technician is able to work with limited supervision, to problem solve on routine and non-routine manufacturing issues, possesses solid decision making abilities and good oral and written communication skills. This position frequently interacts with Engineering and occasionally with Rockwell Automation customers.
This position lifts up to 50 pounds occasionally and stands for 8+ hours per day.
High school diploma or GED required.
Minimum of 2 years experience in electrical assemblies, automation assemblies, electrical wiring and/or electrical manufacturing assembly.
Ability to read and understand complex electrical wiring schematics, assembly layout drawings and ladder diagrams.
Ability to work overtime as required.
Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite
Ability use standard measuring equipment.
