The Commercial Sales Specialist is a technical support role within Global Sales and Marketing.
This position supports the Rockwell Automation vision, mission and values by supporting sales initiatives, maintaining relationships with customers, and providing assistance to other employees.
o Engage distributors on processes and assist in training on Rockwell Automationtools, product and processes. Works closely with distributor inside sales teams.
o Assist sales account managers in pre and post sales functions (quoting, price comparisons, product crossovers, and sourcing stock).
o Assist technical consultants with demos, control and showcases.
o Use sales data, pricing information and account knowledge to assist in strategic account growth. Analyze current pricing agreements to enable sales staff to negotiate maximum opportunity for RA within an account.
o Support special commercial and training.
o Identifies and completes initial qualification of leads.
o Researching prospect accounts, gathers information for sales account managers.
o Attending sales calls with account managers. Visiting customers when required.
o Coordinate various tasks associated with projects as required.
o College Diploma or Technologist Diploma– Engineering, Electrical Technology, Business, Marketing or related discipline.
o Minimum four years of related experience.
o Ability to work as a member of a team.

o Ability to take initiative and use sound judgment to complete tasks in an innovative way.
o Ability to communicate complex ideas and technical information to customers and colleagues in a clear and concise manner.
